The Boston Celtics all but ended the Brooklyn Nets' season on Saturday with a 109-103 victory in Game 3 of their first-round series

Jayson Tatum netted a game-high 39 points and Jaylen Brown added 23 as the Celtics moved within one win of sweeping the Nets with a 109-103 victory

No team in NBAhistory has ever recovered from a 3-0 deficit to win a series, and that's the predicament in which the Nets now find themselves.

“We know what it is. I don’t think no speech or anything it’ll do,” said Kevin Durant on the message to the team after falling down 3-0.

“At this part of the year, you know what it is. We’re down 3-0. We got another game Monday. Just come out and play.”

“I’m not trying to make it a one-on-one thing [with Durant] or a matchup thing, just doing whatever I can to get a win,” Tatum said after the game. “As long as we won, that’s all I care about.”

“He’s been that all year for us,” Boston coach Ime Udoka said of Tatum, who finished with six steals.

Brown said: “I’m not worried about what KD is thinking. I’m worried about what we’re thinking. Our job is to make him guess a little bit, and to make it tough.
